A NEWBORN CARE SPECIALIST
A Newborn Care Specialist
is a person who goes into the
home of parents with a new baby or babies from newborn to 12 weeks.
A Newborn Care Specialist is highly educated and experienced
in the care of newborns. This specialist may be certified
through the NCSA (Newborn Care Specialist Association). She is
a capable, loving person who will guide and direct the parents when
they are overwhelmed or need an expert opinion.
This is a career for a Nanny, Doula,
Midwife, RN, LPN, Child Care Worker, Nursing Assistant or anyone
interested in working with newborns
A Newborn Care Specialist will do day,
night or around the clock duty to help parents adjust to the
newborn.
A Newborn Care Specialist will be
educated in:
Preemies, Multiples, Reflux, Colic,
Sleep Training, Scheduling, Soothing Methods, Breast and Bottle
Feeding and more.
Your guide includes unlimited support from the author. This support is available during regular office hours. A Newborn Care Specialist may have the following responsibilities: ►Setting up a workable schedule for the baby
► Nursery maintenance
► Feeding and assisting mom with
